Terms of Service & Legal Notice

By visiting our site and/or purchasing products from Trail Wave, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including all additional policies referenced herein.

1. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Western Australia (WA), Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

2. Accuracy of Site Information & Trademark Notice

We endeavor to present accurate product descriptions, metric dimensions, hydrostatic waterproof ratings, and pricing. Independent Outdoor Hardware Brand Notice: Trail Wave is an independent coastal outdoor and technical hiking gear retailer. Trail Wave is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Sea to Summit, Osprey, Black Diamond, Macpac, Kathmandu, or Arc'teryx. Any comparative references are made strictly for functional specification, waterproof rating comparison (e.g., IPX7 / 10,000mm hydrostatic head), and technical clarity. Trail Wave reserves the right to correct any inadvertent inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.

3. Coastal Wilderness Hazards, Electronic Device Sealing & Safety Disclaimer

Coastal Trail & Marine Hazard Warning: Coastal trekking, tidal flat crossings, and cliff hiking involve unpredictable natural risks including sudden rogue waves, rapid tide surges, slippery rock platforms, and dehydration. Hikers are solely responsible for checking local tide charts, weather alerts, and carrying emergency signaling gear. Waterproof Roll-Top Sealing Advisory: Roll-top dry bags and backpacks require a minimum of 3 to 4 tight downward rolls prior to buckle engagement to create an effective waterproof seal. While our fabrics are 100% waterproof, user error in rolling or unsealed external accessory pockets may permit water ingress. Sensitive electronic equipment (phones, car keys, cameras) should always be double-bagged inside an additional certified dry pouch. Trail Wave is not liable for water damage to internal electronics, slips or falls on coastal terrain, or injuries arising from dangerous wilderness conditions.
